Open from 12:00 to 17:00 on Sunday. | Modern British Restaurant Housed within the historic Robert Adam Stable building of the Luton Hoo Hotel and designed by the distinguished 18th century architect Robert Adams, Adam’s Brasserie offers a less formal style of dining. The decor is light and contemporary, with leather sink-in banquettes and chandeliers adorning the ceiling. Complementing the interior, the British menu is equally modern and infused with outside influences, offering popular dishes such as Aged English Beef Rib Eye, Crab and Crayfish Tagliatelle and Pan-Seared Marinated Scottish Salmon.
True to the star-studded legacy of the building, the restaurant’s walls are lined with stills from many films and TV shows shot on location at Luton Hoo. There is also a reference to the previous use of the brasserie as a cinema. Royal guests including Queen Mary are known to have watched films here alongside staff and members of the Wernher family as part of Christmas celebrations at the house.
Connected to the brassiere, Adam’s Bar also contains an array of pictures and artifacts, all dedicated to the family’s prized horses. Acknowledging the Wernher family history, the interior resembles that of a traditional stable building with oak beams in the ceiling.
