| Mediterranean Restaurant, Fish & Seafood Restaurant Nestling down an alley in the centre of York you’ll find “ate o’clock” restaurant.
This 40 seater eating establishment opened in September 2005 the first go-it-alone venture for Kenny Noble a well known chef in York.
The restaurant offers a relaxing, friendly atmosphere with friendly, efficient staff. Service is “laidback” yet professional with many personal touches.
The menu uses fresh, local produce with food being cooked to order and mostly home-made. Our food style is Mediterranean with a twist of scouse! Recognizable food with interesting variations, not too fancy and plain if you request it!
The restaurant features many quirks: eagles, clocks all set to 8 o’clock and film sets in the toilets.
Outside allows for lunch in the sun (during the summer months) pre-dinner drinks area or after dinner coffee chill-out zone. The seating arrangements, parasols and outside heated lamps make the area comfortable all year round. We want the locals to feel like they are on holiday.
Opening hours - Tuesday to Saturday for lunch 12 noon - 2.00pm (last orders) and Monday to Saturday 6.00pm - 9.30pm (last orders).
Lunch menu offers a wide variety of dishes providing something suitable for all appetites, light lunch items to more substantial for the hungrier person our side orders allow you to select what’s right for you. We have recently introduced an Under 8’s lunch menu more suited to a younger persons appetite.
Dinner offers an a la carte menu with daily specials on the board.
Remember it’s 8 o’clock twice a day everywhere in the world!
