Since opening in 1985, Babur has established itself as a firm favourite amongst Forest Hill locals with a passion for fantastic Indian cuisine. Unmissable thanks to the enormous tiger perched above the glass doorway, this is a sleek, modern restaurant which showcases its Indian roots in its kalamkari wall hanging and kantha table runners.

The cuisine is a mixture of classic and contemporary sub-continental favourites, with monthly-changing specials. The kitchen staff are highly experienced in a broad range of regional Indian cuisine types, and are focused on using the best quality produce in every dish. Specialities include the Bikaneri Macchi (Black Cod in spiced mustard oil), Jumbo Garlic Prawns on Masala Uttapam, and the Goan Spiced Duck Breast on a bed of spinach, pineapple and chilli salsa.
