The Barist is located under the railway arches under the Hackescher Markt and provides a successful combination of bistro, café, restaurant and cocktail bar. The lunch menu changes on a regular basis and you can eat splendidly for a reasonable price. The cooking is Franco-Italian with an Austrian influence - this is also reflected in the wine list. The specialities of the house are the Alsace Tarte Flambée and the opportunity to choose from a selection of over 100 cocktails. There is a separate eating area available for business meals, and the Barist can help you to put a menu together for special occasions, celebrations etc. On warm days there are north and south-facing terraces to sit out on.
