To inspire this atmosphere, The Caucus Room restaurant is owned by prominent Democrat Tom Boggs and former Republican National Committee Chairman Haley Barbour, alongside Larry Work, who also owns the award-winning Sam & Harry’s restaurant, and Ed Mathias from The Carlyle Group.
Enticing many politicians and A-list celebrities, the restaurant’s seafood dishes are flown in daily and range from Sesame Encrusted Salmon and Mahi Mahi to Sea Scallops poached in butter and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. Succulent USDA Prime steaks and chops are also available in a variety of cuts and strips, 28 days aged and corn fed in the Midwest. Complementing the menu, the eclectic wine list offers a collection of over 4,000 wines, with 25 available by the glass, sourced from France, Italy, Australia and the United States.
An exquisite private dining experience can also be enjoyed at The Caucus Room. You will be served special cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Chris Smith, complemented by hand-selected wines and spirits, in an intimate and secluded dining area.
