Filo Basílica is in calle Basílica, close to calle Orense in Madrid. The philosophy of this restaurant chain is based around creative Mediterranean cuisine, using natural ingredients with no preservatives, aimed at a young clientele. The restaurant is modern with a large terrace sheltered from the noise of the city, and which is partly covered with a retractable glass roof. Diners can choose between the set menu or the extensive à la carte. Dishes include creamy rice with green asparagus, parmesan cheese and foie gras; fillet steak medallions with grainy mustard and Swedish potatoes; or stir-fried prawns with porcini and olive oil.
