The Freiämter Hof in Freiamt has been in the same family for five generations. The family has run the restaurant for the last 135 years and have done so with passion, warmth and enthusiasm. Until 1960 the Freiämter Hof was also officially a farm which you can see from the large number of tools which are now used as decoration. The restaurant can cater for parties for up to 130 people. In the summer the beer garden can accommodate another 150 people. Regional and seasonal dishes are on the menu (e.g. venison, wild boar, wild fowl and hare). The restaurant also has special promotions such as a breakfast buffet in the cosy, wooden s´Bierhaase Schiere. For children there is a play area and a playground which is at a safe distance from the road.
