The Gaststube Bären is in Ostermundigen in the Swiss canton of Berne. The Gaststube comprises accommodation facilities with a choice of three different restaurants. The Grotto, which has been given an architectural makeover, serves Italian cuisine from Monday to Friday. The Chamarré offers French cuisine complemented by the new Chamarré cult wines. The Gaststube offers regional set meals and a choice of vegetarian dishes which change every week. It also offers special evening meals and has a rural feel. In the summer you can also dine out on the country-style terrace which can sit 120 people. From 4 pm single women are given a complimentary glass of Chamarré white wine or a Blanc Cassis at the bar.
