Family owned AA 3 star 15th century coaching inn located in the centre of a very picturesque Hampshire village. Easy access, only 2 miles off the M3 motorway and from a mainline station to London Waterloo. Oak panelled rooms, stone flagged floors and log fires in the Winter make this a charming retreat, offering 28 individually styled rooms with modern comforts and for that special occasion four poster rooms.

Special rates for weekend breaks of a 2 night stay or more are available including a complimentary dinner in the restaurant for one night of your stay. Cream teas are also served in the atmospheric Cromwells restaurant, Monday to Saturday from 3pm to 6pm.

There is a choice of 2 quality restaurants - Cromwells featuring modern British cooking and a stylish cafe bar and bistro which is open all day serving everything from morning capuccinos and light lunches to cream teas and candlelit dinners. Full English breakfast is also available here all day and you can watch the world go by while seated outside at our pavement cafe tables.
