Glass opened in 2003 and features contemporary food based on traditional Norwegian cuisine and so-called fusion food with dishes combined from various countries and continents (France, Italy, Asia etc.) - menus depend on availability at the market, the season and fresh produce. Reasonably priced good quality wine will be recommended to accompany the various dishes. The building which houses the restaurant beautifully blends into the townscape, but lights up the surroundings when darkness falls. The outdoor area is split across two levels, with each table boasting a view of the river. The 2nd floor Mezzanine can be booked for parties of up to 22 people and is also used as an exhibition area for various artists wanting to present their work.
