Franz can do it! Franz Gruber is a big hit with fans of Austrian cuisine. You can dine magnificently under the restaurant’s giant red awnings. The restaurant also has a dash of the Mediterranean about it. The wine selection is very good, and includes many Valtellinas and other classic Austrian wines. The waiters flit about wearing red aprons. The restaurant appeals to city folk and day-trippers. There is an assortment of antique chairs to sit on. Other features in the bright and airy dining area include prints of paintings by the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, flower arrangements and unusual light fittings.
