The Waldheim is a hotel-restaurant in Risch am Zugersee - it is the Waldheim’s fabulous location in particular which attracts visitors. The restaurant offers a familiar feel and high standards in terms of quality, giving diners a sense of wellbeing and making them want to come again. The Waldheim comprises a bar and bistro, two restaurants, a summer garden and a bay with a majestic view of the lake. The décor is both fashionable and rustic integrating modern design into the building’s 400 year old history. The restaurant can accommodate 100 people indoors and another 100 people outdoors. Diners enjoy healthy meals such as skewered scallops dipped in soya, Thai asparagus and rice. The restaurant organises regular events to add variety to the culinary and social programme. Events include Asia Delight - a culinary tour of Asia that lasts for two weeks with 3 to 7 course meals, and an opera dinner with soloists from the Compagnia Rossini.
