| French Restaurant The restaurant Jamin in Paris’ 16th arrondissement is famed in the culinary world for being the place where überchef Joël Robuchon earned his 3rd coveted Michelin star back in 1984.
These days it is Alain Pras along with Pierre Troisgros, David Tomasini and David Legrand that hold the reigns of this well known restaurant, a star in the Parisian culinary world. The décor is suitably refined yet warm in tone featuring plenty of leather and wood. Works from Joan Miro, Jean Cocteau and Pierre Soulanges sit upon the well stocked bookshelves and pieces from Ancient Egypt and China adorn the room.
As for the kitchen, Head Chef David Legrand, formerly of La Butte Chaillot, takes the reigns and has created a seductive menu taking in flavours from around the globe. Indulge in sweet spicy tuna with wasabi flavoured avocado mousse; creamy mushroom risotto and the most delectable tiramisu with caramelised pears and hazelnut ice cream. Well priced set menus at lunchtimes and in the evenings draw in the crowds at this outstanding restaurant.
