Set in a half-timbered Elizabethan townhouse, Marlowe’s has a rich tradition of serving the acting fraternity of Stratford-upon-Avon, first as an inn, then as a drama school, and latterly as a fine dining restaurant. The charming oak-panelled dining room is ideal for a formal dinner, with a spacious patio for more casual summer dining and a snug bar with a blazing log fire for winter warmth. Food ranges from British classics like sausages and mash to grills, pasta, seafood and robust meaty mains.
