| Locally Sourced Restaurant Mendelssohn’s seeks to fuse influences from far-flung lands, bringing classic, modern, Asian and Austrian cuisine together. This produces a tantalising menu with dishes such as stuffed spatchcock chicken served with potato ravioli and Dukatenbuchteln mit Mohn und Powidl (yeast pastry filled with poppy seeds and plum purée), served with a Wiener Melange (frothy coffee). The day begins with the buffet breakfast served from 6.30-10.30am during the week and from 7-11am at weekends and public holidays. From 11.30am a reasonably priced lunch menu is available and on Saturdays a well-priced 2-course menu is also served from 11.30am. Guests can dine either in the light and airy restaurant decked out in classic white or in the beautiful conservatory.
