The Parkhotel Schillerhain is situated in a stylishly restored villa in a quiet and peaceful parkland setting. All you have to do is focus your mind on the culinary delights meticulously prepared for you by the chef Thomas Haupt and his staff. What Herr Haupt is trying to achieve is ?to create something that is innovative and to allow for culinary diversity?. Apart from specialities from the Palatinate such as Saumagen (pig’s stomach) served with sauerkraut and roast potatoes, the menu features game including venison stew served with cranberries and homemade spaetzle and fish dishes. Depending on the season there are themed weeks based on particular types of food such as chanterelles, apples and lamb. In the summer sit out on the spacious terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding parkland and savour the variety of cuisine the restaurant has to offer.
