Pickwick is housed in a 17th century building which was once the home of the historic restaurant, Kejsarkronan. During the 18th century Kejsarkronan was the in-place for young intellectuals in Stockholm. Pickwick has taken over many of the old restaurant’s traditions and even today many of its guests are the kind who enjoy the finer things in life. The menu features, for example, basil bread stuffed with spicey tunafish and served with lumpfish roe and citrus yoghurt; steak served with béarnaise sauce, red wine gravy, grilled tomato and fried potato wedges; and vanilla ice cream with fruit and kahlua for dessert.
