Tom Lawson. Rafters has always had a reputation as one of Sheffield’s best restaurants, so when we took over in 2013 - and as Sheffielders ourselves - it became personal. Both brought up in the neighbourhood, we wanted to bring the same quality to the table that our predecessors and founders - the Bosworth brothers and Marcus Lane - brought to this Yorkshire favourite. Over almost a decade of friendship, we’ve built on our shared passion for fine dining - and, just as we come as a team, we know great food cannot come without great service. We want Rafters to be the place people come to when they dine out in Sheffield, but we also want it to be the reason they come to Sheffield in the first place.
