Restaurant Gilleleje is a traditional Danish lunch restaurant. The open-faced sandwich menu contains all the expected classics, from herring to aged cheese with meat jelly, as well as a few surprises and classic Danish stew. The restaurant proudly keeps the old traditions alive, with its Nyhavn cellar location and bench seating at long tables. The interior is kept in a clean, modern design, but retains the traditional long oak tables covered in thick marine laquer. Restaurant Gilleleje is cosy lunch venue set in historic surroundings.
