Italian Restaurant

The Cavallo Star is a modern Italian restaurant. It is situated near to the newly refurbished railway station in the centre of Berne. The restaurant has a Mediterranean décor and can seat 150 people. There is seating for a further 90 diners out on the terrace. It serves traditional Italian dishes such as Holzofenpizza (pizzas cooked in a wooden oven) and pasta. Fish, meat and seafood dishes from Thailand, Canada, New Zealand and Norway are also on the menu. Apart from the standard menu, the restaurant also serves spring, summer, winter and Christmas dishes, game and a special menu with a choice of seasonal dishes and a large variety of Italian specialities. The Cavallo Star also serves breakfast consisting of coffee and croissants. The restaurant rewards returning guests for their loyalty by giving them a club card entitling them to special offers.
