Locally Sourced Restaurant

The Weissenbühl in Berne is best known for its Elefantenohren (elephant ears) - giant tenderised and breaded cutlets. The restaurant offers good plain food such as fillet of salmon trout in chive sauce, salted potatoes and salad based on traditional Swiss recipes. It also uses quality, locally sourced ingredients. Diners can choose from a daily changing lunch menu, dine à la carte or attend the regular culinary events. These include Mexican nights, raclette nights, fish and spring nights. The restaurant area can accommodate 48 diners and in the summer there is room for another 90 people out on the terrace. Other rooms are available for events.
