The Romantik Hotel Stryckhaus is a country house built by the Worpsweder painter Heinrich Vogeler and has been owned by the Höhle family since 1935. Embedded in an 800-metre high hill at the foot of the Ettelberg, the hotel lies right on the edge of the forest.
