As you would expect given such an ambience, the Tafelrunde in Berlin’s Wilmersdorf district serves food from the German Middle Ages. Available on a weekly basis are rich 6-course menus from the Middle Ages with specialities such as suckling pig, goose cooked in herbs and Muscovy duck. On the menu you will find, for example, damsels’ refreshment, Merlin’s luck, or monk’s night time meals.

Although meat is the main attraction at the Tafelrunde, there is also something for vegetarians - a variety of really tasty treats is available if you book in advance. You can really eat until you can eat no more in Wilmersdorfer’s Nachodstraße, and dine like they would have done in the Middle Ages. You can even throw the leftover bones behind you and really get into the spirit of the unrefined Middle Ages!
