| German Restaurant The Thelosen occupies an old farmhouse which is well over 100 years old. It has been serving food for over 35 years, and not just to farmers. The Thelosen family have been following a long tradition of spoiling guests with delicious food typical for the island. The cuisine includes, of course, all kinds of seafood and poultry dishes as well as Heidschnucken (a sheep found on the heathland of northern Germany). Half a muscovy duck roasted tender and crisp with delicious trimmings is a particular speciality. This is based on a traditional family recipe and is a real feast. Afterwards finish the meal off with one of the homemade desserts or enjoy one of the special Margaretenhof brandies to help your digestion. There will also be something for you to take home with you.
