It is TOO MUCH say the posters in the Hotel BÄREN in Ostermundigen. You can be your own boss, businessman, and take full responsibility. That is how the restaurant works, with trainees for everything from the kitchen staff to the domestic service staff. Understandably, of course there is always someone behind the trainees in each operational area, checking their ability and giving them directional support, but the trainees should be able to work primarily on their own in order to gain the most from the experience and obtain autonomy. Renowned architect, Pia Schmid, from Zürich has turned TOO MUCH in Ostermundigen into the most beautiful and unique apprentice restaurant in Switzerland.
