Opening Times:
Monday-Friday 13:00 to 22:00 Saturday 11:00 to 22:00 Sunday 11:00 to 22:00 | Danish Restaurant, Eastern European Restaurant At the TvÃ¥ smÃ¥ svin in Ã…rsta, Stockholm you can eat different kinds of sandwiches and drink Czech beer. But here, you are also served brandy whenever you like, as in Copenhagen. The TvÃ¥ smÃ¥ svin shows Danish and Czech influences in both decor and the menu that focuses on sandwiches. You’ll also find pork, Czech beer and schnapps. Although the tavern opened as late as 2014, it is permeated by the feeling of an old beer hall, albeit in updated fashion. Patterned tiles, leather sofas and high stools furnish the restaurant with marble features and simple glass globes for lights, and, of course, a fully stocked bar. Behind the pub, Jimmy Nygren and Donald Olofsson, who also ran the cafe Cocoa Aarsta, run the restaurant together at Sollentuna Golf Club. When the current premises became vacant, they bought and began to invest in Danish and Czech cuisine. The inspiration came from smörrebrödet and the simplicity of the Danish sandwich that can be interpreted freely. On the long smörrebröds menu you can find everything from pickled herring to raw beef as well as vegetarian varieties like fresh beets or tofu. They also offer food for those “on the go”. The menu also has a Czech flavour: confit and especially Czech beers on the beverage side. The drinks menu features Konrad and Primator beers, as well as brandy from Möja distillery that is served all day. You’ll also find champagne and wines from France, USA and Germany on the beverage menu. Several of the drinks are organic.
