The Utholm in Norderstedt offers a pleasant setting with its dark beams on the ceiling and wood all around. The chef Volker Hensel produces dishes that are bright and fresh. But this does not mean that his cuisine is lacking in mystery. The flavours in the sauces have to be thoroughly developed before they are ready for serving. The menu offers German and Italian cuisine, including a large number of traditional dishes and some adventurous speciality dishes. The Utholm can cater for up to 50 people in the club room and another 75 in the restaurant itself. Overall the Utholm can cater for 110 diners.
