White Dog emphasizes high quality, farm-fresh ingredients, purchased from local sustainable farmers whenever possible. All menus change frequently to reflect the freshest available produce. The food balances the familiar with the new, presenting dishes with flair, originality, and outstanding flavour. The drinks lists mostly feature American products, providing an in-depth selection of the best American wines and beers. The wine list features the cafe’s private label Chien Blanc Chardonnay and Snaggletooth Red Rhone blend, alongside approximately 50 carefully selected wines. Regional beers from small boutique breweries are featured with White Dog’s private label, Leg Lifter Lager. White Dog also partakes in many social activist causes throughout the year, making it an eatery not only focused on great food, but also on social justice.
