The Ahrenshof offers a country-style and cosy setting in idyllic green surroundings. The “Scheune” is a timber-framed structure with burlap sacks, wooden wagon wheels and pigs made out of straw. The “Hofstube” can accommodate large party groups. It has an open fireplace, beautifully laid tables, antlers on the walls and earthenware. The staff are eager to please and on the ball. The restaurant conjures up excellent cuisine, some of which is organic. It also serves good wine. In the summer you can sit outside and listen to the wind rustling in the trees. Both tourists and locals can sit in the garden under the colourful parasols or on the deckchairs, leaving all their cares behind them.
