In 1847 the King of Prussia Friedrich Wilhelm IV built the Bayrische Haus for his consort Elisabeth, Princess of Bavaria, which today houses a gourmet restaurant alongside its neighbouring properties. Today the food conjured up in the kitchen by Head Chef Alexander Dressel is also fit for a king. Connoisseurs of fine food really get their money’s worth at the Friedrich Wilhelm restaurant which has also earned itself a coveted Michelin Star. The gourmet cuisine is complemented by an excellent wine list. So there’s an excellent culinary experience awaiting right in the heart of the Potsdamer Wildpark (Potsdam’s wild game park).
