The Cava is the focal point of the Barra, which is a Spanish bar on Cologne’s Barbarossaplatz. This is the German branch of the well known and ever popular Bar Can Paixano in Barcelona. Cava serves Spanish tapas, bocadillos and pinchos along with Iberian sparkling wine. It has a cosy feel. Guests can also send the corks popping in the bubbling Cava Brunnen in Barra’s Sekt cellar. The bar can seat over 70 people indoors and 30 people outdoors. The Cava offers variety and entertainment in the form of special promotions and events. These include the Cava-Taxi (which is free), Tapas of the Week and the Cava Lounge in the Colonia Forum.
