Situated on Worthing’s busy Montague Street, Mahaan brings the warmth and spice of Bengali and Indian cuisine to this seaside town. Sit in its lounge and enjoy one of their famous pink gin’s whilst you browse the menu then move through to the Indian inspired décor of the dining room, with its earthy colours and murals. They have a range of dishes, unique to Mahaan, that are more seasonal such as the Bangladeshi hot and spicy fish curry (£10.95) or the Satkora Chicken with its potato and lime flavoured vegetables (£9.95); vegetarians need to look at the curry list for veggies curries ranging from dansak and bhuna to vindaloo and madras. There’s a good range of beers and wines including a number of curry friendly rose wines.
