Moksh, a unique and modern Indian Restaurant, first opened its doors in 2007. Situated in the vibrant heart of Cardiff Bay in Mermaid Quay, the award winning restaurant boasts the culinary talent of the Chef and Patron Stephen Gomes. Since opening, it has become very popular and advanced booking is recommended.

Stephen has developed a distinctive restaurant concept which blends traditional and authentic Indian flavours with contemporary presentation. He balances the fine dining experience he acquired while working in the hotel industry with the aromatic flavours of his childhood, and brings it to Moksh. As a result, Stephen was recently awarded Best UK Indian Chef by the Cobra Good Curry Guide for 2012-2013.

In 2013, Moksh was also named the second Best Indian Restaurant in the UK by the Cobra Good Curry Guide.

With a definite Goan influence and many dishes on the menu reflecting Stephen’s background and his travels throughout India and Asia, Moksh promises you a refreshing and unique gastronomic experience.
