Regional, seasonal and perfect ... We live in a time when we seem to take for granted the fact that food is transported over long distances, with the environmental costs that this entails. This means that we can find everything on the supermarket shelves at any time of the year. However, the managers of the Mundart want to take a step in the right direction. The motto is locally sourced food which is in season. The beautiful area around Lake Constance offers an abundant choice of seasonal produce throughout the year. The aim is to use a local range of produce with a view to enjoying local and environmentally sustainable food. Everyone can make a contribution in terms of helping the environment and supporting local producers.
