Sunday 17.30 - 22 | International Restaurant The Rickmers Galerie Restaurant is situated in one of Heligoland’s unique locations, directly on the waterfront with a view over the North Sea. It can be found directly located on the south beach, next to the famous king lobsters in the picturesque port. On the menu at the Rickmers Galerie Restaurant you will find, ‘Dishes from history’ and specialties from modern international cuisine, such as gurnard fillet in layered pastry, baked with an asparagus salad and comfit of tomatoes, stewed back bacon on a celery puree in a port wine sauce with roasted wild mushrooms, or warm chocolate fondant with tonka bean ice-cream. With authentic produce, interpreted with a modern twist and lead by experienced Eurotoques international (ETI) head chef, Jens Ramke, and his team, guests can experience a piece of the culinary history of the island. Whether dining inside, or outside, guests of the Rickmers Galerie Restaurant are offered a beautiful view over the habour, Heligoland reeds and sand dunes.
