Specialities such as soft Lachmittelstück (pieces of special cheese) in a light chervil and saffron mousse, served with sorrel noodles and baby vegetables, grilled beef fillet, ‘Seeburg (sea mount)’ with nut potatoes and baby vegetables in a Bernaise sauce, or warm ‘Schoggi (famous Swiss company for chocolates and confectionary) tartlets’ with a soft centre and a scoop of vanilla ice cream are all on the menu. The wine menu with over four hundred choice bottles is as famous in the region as the dream like view over Lake Lucerne, the post and the romantic sunsets.
