The Talbot is set in the heart of picturesque Cuckfield village and has a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. Cosy up in front of the log fire in the Winter, or bask in the sunshine on the outside terrace in the Summer.

They now have a stunning new first floor restaurant, perfect for romantic dinners for two, or groups of friends and family. Sit back and watch their highly skilled chefs create modern classics in the open kitchen. The gastro menu reflects traditional British pub grub, with a refined edge. All dishes are made with local, fresh and seasonal ingredients.

The Talbot serves a light lunch in their bar during the day, including salads and sandwiches. Coffees, teas and cakes are available from 11am, with fresh croissants and pastries on the weekend. They have a fantastic Sunday roast of beef, lamb or pork for only £12.50 and also cater for children with home made meals available from the kids menu.

The Talbot has a special Christmas menu available this year from 1st-24th December. £24.95 for 3 courses, or £19.95 for 2 course lunch. There will also be mulled wine on the bar throughout December.

Their bar prides itself on serving superb local real ales sourced from award winning local breweries, including Harvey’s, Dark Star and a range of guest breweries, combined with some of the continent’s great lagers and stunning wines from Britain and further afield.
